Tastings
Wine tastes better when it is drunk where it is made. We offer complimentary tastings whenever we are open. We are open Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 4:00. On weekdays we are open by appointment only. We love to share our passion and knowledge of our wines. Château Defay's current offerings are posted on our web page current updates. For those interested in greater depth, we offer a special tour of the vineyard and winery for approximately $5:00.
Along with our wines we also serve various cheeses made in Guatemala and several dishes of Antipasto and pasta especially prepared by our resident chef.
We are also open for special events such as weddings and receptions, anniversary parties and graduations. We offer full catering services.
If you have enjoyed our wines and your visit, we do hope that you purchase our wines at the winery. A small vineyard such as ours can only exist by selling wines directly from winegrower to wine drinker.
Order
You may order the following Château Defay wines by email or in person at the winery. The winery is located on the road from Santa Maria de Jesus to Palin. From Antigua, look for the Calvario Church. Take the road to Santa Maria de Jesus that passes in front of the Calvario Church. Go across Santa Maria de Jesus and take the dirt road that goes to Palin. We are located at 5 kms from Santa Maria de Jesus. Please contact us for additional information on ordering and shipping information.
We offer a 10% discount (12 or more bottles). Cases may be mixed.
